Often a small sign is enough to fill people with hope – even if there is little reason for this from an objective point of view. For almost 35 years now, wortundtat has been taking such signs of hope to the poorest of the poor. In India, Tanzania and the Republic of Moldova, the press photographer Rüdiger Fessel was able to capture the joy and the emotions when the right word or action brought a smile onto people’s faces. We have selected the most beautiful and touching photos to compile a calendar for the coming year. It is now available in bookshops and on the internet.
