• to explain how development aid can work in our day and age
• to report about poverty and challenges in threshold and development countries
• to show that words have to be followed by deeds so that the message of God’s redemptive love remains believable.

„Missionary work and social responsibility do not necessarily require that one travels into the poor areas of the world“, said a visitor at the wortundtat stand at the Youth Mission Day in Krelingen. Thereby she got straight to the point of the work of wortundtat-unterwegs, because the presentation of the work of the Aid and Missionary Organisation in Germany builds bridges to concrete projects in depressed areas.
During the first two months of the year, wortundtat-unterwegs has already spoken to many people who showed great interest in the work of the organisation. Members of staff for example visited the Goethe-Gymnasium in Essen, the Ethnic lessons of a vocational college in Gießen or met pupils and parents of a school in Böblingen. During the Youth Mission Day in Krelingen, the young guests did not only ask about practical help of the wortundtat projects but were also keen to learn more about the missionary aspects of the work.
