Help for the weakest links in society
Anybody, who has been in one of India’s poorest regions, knows that it is impossible to succeed in trying to give help to everybody who needs it. There is so much poverty everywhere, there is such a great lack of essential things that one - as wortundtat founder Dr. Heinz-Horst Deichmann once said - could only “run away or help”. That is why so-called national workers (equivalent to German social workers) travel the region to find people who they suspect are most in need of aid.
These efforts resulted in a number of wortundtat projects, which are aimed at helping the following groups:
• Children
• Adults
• Older people
• People, who need special help
