It is over 30 years ago that the aid and mission work organisation wortundtat started its work in the South Indian State of Andhra Pradesh. wortundtat only uses local workers to carry out its work. The Indian organisation AMG India International with seat in South Indian Chilakaluripet is solely responsible for realising the wortundtat projects.
Some basic information about India
Although in global comparison, India has the most millionaires and billionaires and is able to look back on considerable economic growth over the past years, her change is very slow and limited: the computer industry only employs about 2 million people whilst 700 million Indians still live in rural areas - often in great poverty. Not all people are equally benefitting from the growth in the emerging market country, which is India: more than half of India’s 1.16 billion strong population exist on less than € 1.40 € a day. The average per capita income lies at € 586 € p.a.. Particular underdeveloped are the rural areas. wortundtat helps in Andhra Pradesh in the south of the subcontinent.
