wortundtat receives the DZI Seal of Approval for 2011

In December 2010, wortundtat once again received the Seal of Approval of the German Central Institute for Social Concerns (DZI) (in german language). The Institute awards this seal to non-profit making organisations, which amongst others are financed by fundraising since 1992. wortundtat has been awarded with this Seal of Approval uninterruptedly  since its beginnings. The Seal helps donors to find trustworthy organisations, which they trust with their money. According to the DZI “the Seal of Approval gives the donor security in his choice of cause and commits the organisations to transparent, competent business conduct. This creates trust and promotes the obtaining of funds for properly acting organisations”.

The evaluation criteria of the des DZI consist in particular of:

• True, clear and factual advertising in words and in pictures,
• verifiable, prudent and statutory use of the funds under consideration of the relevant tax regulations,
• clear and comprehensible billing,
• efficient planning and decision-making structures as well as a functioning internal supervision of the executive board by an independent supervisory body.
