Training in the surrounding villages

In order to create training facilities also outside the KIUMA project, wortundtat is constructing community centres in various villages, where for example people are able to learn simple woodwork skills. The building also serves as a day nursery or - where a Christian congregation has been formed - as a room for the service.

This engagement is met with great acceptance by the mainly Muslim population, who after almost 15 years of KIUMA has long shed its initial reservation towards its helping neighbour. In the mean time, more and more villages of the district are asking about such support.
